How to thread beading?

Beading is a tradition that is been practiced by humans over thousands of years. Before knowing how to thread bead, one must be aware of what beading is? Beading may be well defined as the art of attaching beads to one another or to cloths, mostly by the use of needle or thread. Most beadworks are taken in the form of jewelry. The basic components used in beading are some kind of beads and thread or string. Beading can be done with many different materials, clay, stone, bone, pearls, and more to create colorful adornments.

Requirements For Threading:

The following equipments are required for threading. They are: awl, silk threads, pliers, beading adhesive, square tile, scissors, and paring knife.

Few instructions for threading:

The following measures must be followed while threading. They are

One must first ensure how long the beaded project will be. After ensuring the length, measure out the piece of thread four times the length the beaded project will be. Cut the thread after adding an extra ten inch to it.

After folding the thread into half, and holding the ends together, place the thread on the square tile.

Holding both the paring knife in one hand and the thread on the other hand, cut the thread thinner and shave the tips of the thread. Continue this process until 1.5 inches is been removed. Wipe the thread with the adhesive with the help of the awl.

Get the tips of the thread twirled to twist up the glued ends of the thread. By holding the thread from the tips, pull down so that the thread can run parallel. After this, tie both the ends off the thread in knot.

Now slide down the beads through the thread.

Warning: the beads in the thread must be well spaced with the knots.
