What to eat and avoid eating in diarrhea
Do not eat greasy, fatty, spicy and oily food items as these could aggravate the situation. Stay away from alcohols, caffeine and artificial sweeteners. Taking dairy products and baked sweets like cookies, cake and candy is also strictly prohibited for diarrhea patients.
Instead stick to a plain diet constituting of rice, boiled vegetables like potatoes and carrots, toasts, bananas, boiled eggs and plain baked chicken.
