How to get rid of Fatigue?

If you feel so tired that you difficulty getting up every morning and notice a consistent energy crisis throughout the day, then chances are you are undergoing fatigue. Fatigue could be both physical and mental. It could make you so lethargic that you would want to take a nap every now and then. This could be really annoying at times and affect both your personal and professional life.

What does fatigue point to?

Fatigue might be a sign of something seriously wrong with you. Sometimes it is pointer of your hectic lifestyle—too much work and too little sleep. Poor eating habits causing a lack of adequate nutrition could tire you easily.  Feeling fatigued could also mean you are depressed and facing some anxiety. Lack of exercises and taking certain medicines could also cause fatigue.

How fatigue is connected with medical conditions

If you have chronic ailments that have not been treated properly, it will take a toll on your general well being and make you fatigued.  Such chronic ailments could include the likes of diabetes, sleeplessness, anemia, thyroid problems, chronic fatigue syndrome and even cancer. You must consult a doctor getting such health conditions treated in order to cure fatigue.

How to prevent fatigue

Too much sleep is just as tiring as too little sleep. You can do a few things yourself to keep your sleeping pattern in check. Make a sleep schedule to ensure you get enough repose every day. The schedule could vary between 7-9 hours according to your sleeping needs. Do not indulge in activities like TV watching, reading, exercising or eating just before bed-time because these could leave you wide awake. 

Get yourself checked for psychological triggers like stress or depression as these often lead to sleeping disorders. Try to include adequate protein, fluids, carbohydrates and fiber in your diet while avoiding junks, caffeine and alcohols.
